A little note to explain my recent absence. DD and D+ needed to take a brief pause as my mum has been nearing the end of her life after becoming seriously ill with cancer, and I've been caring for her and being with her whilst she receives palliative care. It's been both a difficult and precious time, and my focus has understandably been on my family.
Thank you for your patience and understanding while I temporarily stepped away. Normal service will be resuming and I'll be sharing with you regularly again. I appreciate you all sticking with us during this and I very much hope you'll continue to be here.
